Since 2020, Joseph has been a valuable member of the Louis Plung & Company team. He currently serves the firm as an audit manager, overseeing audits, reviews, and compilations from beginning to end and reviewing all work to ensure that it is accurate and high quality. He works primarily with clients in the food manufacturing, real estate, and nonprofit sectors. A professional in the accounting field since 2009, Joseph’s resume includes stints at three other Pennsylvania public accounting firms.

A hardworking and dedicated professional, Joseph seeks to treat every one of his clients as if they are his most important client. Growing up, numbers are what always made sense to him, so it was an easy choice to opt for a career in accounting. He attributes his success in the field to a combination of hard work and a great support system. Joseph finds inspiration in his favorite quote, which comes from Henry Ford: “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t—you’re right.” He likes it because it expresses a great outlook and offers an example of the power of positive thinking.

Born and raised in Shaler, Pennsylvania, Joseph now lives in nearby Glenshaw with his wife, Brittany, and their three children, Nora, Gunnar, and Celeste. Joseph enjoys living in the Pittsburgh area because it is a unique city that offers many amenities but still has a small-town type of citizenry. “You get a little of everything here,” he explains. Though Joseph spends the majority of his time hanging out with his kids, Joseph also enjoys playing video games, playing darts or cornhole with his friends, fitting in a round of golf, and cheering on his favorite teams, the Steelers and the Penguins.
