Since joining Louis Plung & Company in early 2022 following a merger with Love, Scherle & Bauer, Rob has concentrated his efforts on the audit side, where his client base includes the industries of nonprofits, manufacturing, real estate, and service organizations.

His favorite part of public accounting is the wonderful people he gets to meet and work with. He enjoys building relationships with clients, becoming a trusted partner, and using his experience and expertise to help them meet their goals. Explains Rob, “I cherish these relationships. And I always try to provide the best client service that I can. That means more that providing an audit report or a tax return. It means understanding the client, always looking for ways to help the client improve their organization, alerting the client to opportunities or changes that may affect them.”

Rob is proud to be a lifelong resident of the Pittsburgh area and a Penn State grad. Outside of the office, his favorite thing to do is spend time with his wife Susan and their twins Serena and Zach. Sports are a big part of Rob’s life. As he puts it, “Much of our time is spent cheering on Serena and Zach’s Plum High School and Allegheny Force soccer teams. I love sports and I loved coaching youth sports in Plum when my kids were younger. Strong supporter of all of the Pittsburgh sports teams – Pirates, Steelers, Penguins, Riverhounds. And, of course, my beloved Nittany Lions!”

He goes on to say, “I love the community of people here in Southwestern PA – friendly and helpful, a strong work ethic coupled with a great sense of humor. We know how to work hard, but we also know how to have fun.”
