Description of Practice
Since 2015, Cynthia has been an integral member of the Louis Plung & Company team. She initially joined the firm as an audit senior manager, but she now serves as the firm administrator. In this capacity, she oversees all firm operations, from human resources to financial management to strategic initiatives. A professional in the field since 2006, prior to joining Louis Plung & Company, Cynthia spent nine years serving in various accounting roles at a Baltimore public accounting firm.
Cynthia is a straightforward professional; she is results-oriented and people-focused. Cynthia strives to achieve transparency and open communication with her colleagues and clients in order to help both sides understand what is necessary to achieve a win-win situation. She was inspired to pursue a career in accounting by both of her parents and her sister, who also work in the field. She attributes her success to her constant desire to grow and improve and to her talent for self-reflection, which helps her determine what she can do personally to improve a situation.
Raised outside of Philadelphia, Cynthia lived in Baltimore for nine years before moving to her current home in Pittsburgh. She enjoys where she lives for its combination of a city feel and midwestern attitudes. Cynthia and her husband, Frank, have a daughter named Lydia and a tuxedo cat named Chimi (short for Chimichanga). In her free time, Cynthia likes to volunteer and give back to local organizations.
