Originally from Peru, Clara worked in as an international import & brokerage specialist before starting a career in public accounting over a decade ago.
She joined Louis Plung & Company in early 2025 as an Audit Senior Manager working with clients in manufacturing, construction, retail, nonprofit, and education.
She excels at finding solutions for her clients and particularly enjoys helping her clients with revenue recognition, lease recognition, internal controls, and cost accounting issues. “I love helping people,” explains Clara, “from coaching colleagues to mentoring staff members, to servicing clients and guiding them through complex financial reporting issues.”
Outside of work, Clara enjoys being active and spending time outdoors – some of her favorite activities include running and playing tennis. When she’s not spending time outdoors, you can also find Clara at the movie theater.
