Louis Plung & Company Partner Joins Nonprofit Board
The Pittsburgh accounting and consulting firm Louis Plung & Company (LPC) is excited to announce that firm partner Joseph Zovko, CPA recently joined the board of directors of North Hills Community Outreach.
A member of the Louis Plung & Company team since 2004, Zovko joined the firm as a senior accountant and now serves as a partner. In this capacity, he specializes in providing audit and consulting services to clients in the distribution, non-profit, agriculture, manufacturing, and real estate sectors, as well as to privately held businesses.
“North Hills Community Outreach is a fantastic organization,” said Zovko. “They provide invaluable support to those in our community who are facing hardship. I believe in their mission and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to serve such on their team.”
Founded in 1986, North Hills Community Outreach unites local religious and community leaders in providing for the needs of community members dealing with crisis situations, poverty, and other obstacles. A 1990 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Zovko holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. He is very involved in the professional accounting community as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), BKR International, and Leadership Pittsburgh XXXII. Additionally, he is Past President of the Pittsburgh chapter of PICPA, a member of its Executive Committee as well as on the nominating committee of the Pittsburg Chapter of the PICPA and the state level of the PICPA. Zovko currently lives in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania with his wife, Claire, and their two children, Taylor and Adam.
